Internal Recruiter (Fixed Term Contract)

Your purpose

As our Internal Recruitment Specialist you will play a crucial and exciting role in progressing our business, working to recruit new healthcare professionals to join our growing Government Services team.

Day to day you will manage vacancies, review applications, and speak to a variety of different people, from nurses and paramedics to physiotherapists and other clinical professionals. Working to assess their suitability for one of our nationwide Disability Analyst roles.  

You will manage strong data and reporting on recruitment trends, as well as overseeing the onboarding experience of new starters to make sure that it is seamless and creates a great first impression.

How your role fits within our team

You will report into the Talent Acquisition Manger and will closely with a Talent Acquisition Lead.

This in an internal recruitment role, so you will work collaboratively with your peers and the wider People Team to achieve shared goals and targets. Particularly the People Coordinators who work to manage onboarding processes and admin.

With the direction of the other Internal Recruitment Specialist you will liaise closely with customers and hiring managers from our Government Services team, to ensure that they are kept well informed and are fully supported with all their recruitment needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Using a variety of platforms to source suitable candidates for our clinical vacancies.
  • Conducting telephone interviews with suitable candidates, sometimes outside of normal office hours.
  • Liaising with internal customers to arrange assessments and interviews.
  • Arranging interviews with our appointed agency.
  • Preparing candidates for interview.
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation, including 'Right to Work’ ID and checks are present and correct.
  • Managing feedback and offers post interview.
  • Supporting the People Coordinators with onboarding as required.
  • Reporting recruitment activity and trends to the Talent Acquisition Manger and internal customers.

Knowledge experience and qualifications

Knowledge & skills    

Essential

  • Strong computer literacy and IT skills; including Basic Excel skills including formulas, summarising and presenting data
  • Excellent administration and organisation
  • Attention to detail coupled with a drive to complete projects and work in a timely manner

Desirable

  • Intermediate Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables and lookups

Experience

Essential

  • Working in a high volume recruitment role
  • Strong communication skills and experience of providing a service / support within an organisation

Desirable

  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent professional experience
