IT Support Analyst

About the role

Our IT Support Analyst will be an approachable and dedicated individual with a passion for IT and helping others. You will be proactive and have a natural flair for troubleshooting and problem solving able to deal with omnichannel support referrals quickly and efficiently. Your passion for IT will allow you to build on your knowledge and experience of each field within the department and help to build on your repertoire of skills and abilities. Travel to clinic sites and other offices may be required.

Key responsibilities
 

  • Monitor and respond to support requests through the IT ticketing system on a range of platforms and environments.
  • Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to new starters and leavers.
  • Keep up to date on current IT projects and deployments with regular attendance at product team sprint meetings.
  • Engage with wider Ascenti business through other mediums including floor walking, support surgeries, chat groups, publications and presentations.
  • Providing support outside core hours as part of a rota and under a flexible working policy.

Key skills and attributes

  • IT literate with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • User focused with a willingness to help others.
  • A willingness to become expert on in-house developed systems.
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop/server environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop environments.
  • Familiarity working within an omnichannel environment dealing with calls, chat queries as well as direct through the IT ticketing system.
  • Ability to perform your role with a style that embodies the Ascenti values.
